It’s that time again… annual colonoscopy/endoscopy week thanks to Lynch Syndrome (MSH2 mutation). Ugh. Does anyone else find the prep gets HARDER each year, mentally? Just knowing what’s coming. Any tips for making the Golytely/Moviprep marathon slightly less miserable? Solidarity needed!

While the prep is universally disliked, Lisa, remember why you’re doing it. Annual surveillance for Lynch carriers drastically reduces colorectal cancer mortality. Framing it as a proactive, life-saving measure sometimes helps mentally shift the perspective, even if the physical part remains unpleasant.
You’re absolutely right, William. Perspective helps. It’s the price we pay for vigilance. Thanks for the reminder.
